DON’T SWEAT THE FALL STUFF.
It got a bit more brisk this week here in NYC but we’re still not ready to break out the coats.  Instead, to honor the art of layering, we’ve put together some inspiration for you to rock the sweaters with some of the brands below. Check out our pinterest board, too for more ideas.
Wool and the Gang: Have them knit it for you or knit yourself.  They can send you a kit (they even have courses) or a wool gangsta knits it for you.  From their site: “Our knitting revolution is growing — our makers are involved in every step of our process from design and production through to passing on knitting skills at our Parties. Anyone can be a Gangsta — simply purchase a Kit and learn to knit, support a fellow Gangsta by buying their handmade pieces, or pass on your skills to others. Get involved, join the Maker Revolution and make a change!?
Kowtow: 100% fair trade organic cotton from New Zealand. Â The brand does lots of cute basics but we especially love their sweater with the faces on it.
Zady has just launched its next collection of sweaters and a coat. They’ve detailed out their supply chain and have several options including alpaca and wool
Sseko: These blue booties are a little like we stole our dad’s work boots but in suede and blue: hence why we love them. We paired with a baggy sweater but dress up the look and rock some heels, too.
Duka: All of their scarves are one of a kind, reclaimed textiles from East Africa, upcycled into beautiful scarves, made in Kenya by a women’s group.
Enjoy! Don’t sweat the fall stuff 😉
