BECAUSE SO MANYÂ GREAT THINGS COME IN SMALL, SHINY PACKAGES. ğ«
Weâve been told that we are not the best at idioms, but we do know that good things come in small packages. So this week we are all about that: good, small, shiny packages.
Our brand this week is A Peace Treaty: the products are stunning, the craftsmanship is one of a kind, and the founders are awesome! #girlsquadÂ
Founded in 2008 by Farah Malik, a Pakistani Muslim, and Dana Arbib, a Libyan Jew (a peace treaty, get it?) A Peace Treaty was created to generate employment for skilled artisans working in places of socio-political conflict. Today, they work with artisans from Afghanistan to Peru, and they continue to expand each year with capsule collections and projects.
Inspired by the makers of the world, each season, the company designs a line of products that feel like an adventure to a whimsical land. All their products are designed in New York, and handmade with one of their artisan partners globally. We love their commitment to preserving artisanal techniques and their unique design perspective. And weâre not alone - the brand has been widely featured on Vogue, InStyle, and Elle, to name a few.
CO-FOUNDERS / ROCKSTARS DANA ARBIB & FARAH MALIK ğ
Making a product pick from their collection is a pretty hard job, but we braved it - anything to make your life easier, itâs just the kind of gals we are.
